Qualification Objectives:

To equip Learners with broad knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to demonstrate occupational competence in the workplace in the hairdressing industry enabling Learners to perform a range of hairdressing services.
To provide a competency based skills qualification in hairdressing that combines both subject knowledge and industry skills that are essential for the Learner’s development and career advancement.
To enable Learners to develop skills, techniques, gain knowledge and understanding to prepare Learners to progress to level 3 vocational learning within the hairdressing industry.
To provide a progression structure for Learners to develop the workplace skills and personal attributes essential for successful working lives within the hairdressing industry.
