ICM were delighted to attend the 50th Anniversary of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology (ATP) International Psychology Teachers conference to promote the launch of the ICM Level 2 Award in Psychology. It was a joy to attend a face-to-face conference for the first time since COVID-19, to meet the delegates in person and hear from distinguished keynote speakers such as Dr Guy Sutton (pictured). Thank you to the conference organisers of ATP!
ICM attended ATP in 2019 where valuable feedback was gathered from teachers in the research we conducted. This year it was fantastic to be able to promote the fully developed ICM Level 2 Award in Psychology that has been developed in line with psychology teachers needs, as captured in research throughout 2019 and 2020.
We met and had the pleasure to talk with a number of psychology teachers about the ICM Level 2 Award in Psychology which ICM are running as pilot qualification in September 2021, in anticipation for launch on the RQF as an Ofqual regulated qualification in September 2022. A large number of teachers expressed interest in offering the Level 2 Award in Psychology so we have put together a FAQ on this exciting new qualification.
