A graduate from the MA Marketing Management programme at Southampton Solent University has been awarded an ICM prize for “Best Part Time Student”.
ICM has sponsored a prize at the University for a number of years, and felt that this year’s recipient – Sarah Dunlop – achieved an excellent standard in all aspects of the Masters course.
Sarah currently works for the Southampton Business School’s administration team and previously spent many years in the commercial sector working for Marks and Spencer Customer Services as well as running her own businesses.
Prior to her completion of the MA, Sarah obtained a first degree in Arts and Musicology and it was this interest that led her to focus her MA Marketing Management dissertation on the ways in which museums communicate with the public and how successful they are in widening participation in museum attendance and engagement.
Coupled with such a strong dissertation, Sarah’s hard work throughout her studies led her to be awarded an overall grade of Distinction.
She now hopes to continue her studies by researching for a PhD at Southampton Solent University; ICM wishes her all the best with her continued learning.
ICM’s sponsorship is part of our continued work in developing education and training around the world, encouraging good practice and recognising excellence at all levels.
