Three ICM staff members have recently returned from visiting students and Centres in Kenya. The trip was a chance for staff to introduce themselves and for ICM to gain feedback about courses and examinations. Keith Parr, Iain Nightingale – both ICM Examinations Officers – and Peter Rounce, ICM’s Technical Development Manager, visited five ICM Centres in Kenya.Lots of positive feedback was gained from the Centres, along with suggestions for further improving the service provided by the Institute. Overall, the Centres were impressed with the range and number of courses available, the number of examination sittings each year and the marketing materials they received from ICM. Iain Nightingale, ICM Examinations Officer, found the trip extremely valuable: “We learnt a lot from the Centres. It was a great experience for us as examinations officers to see how a different country operates and to see its teaching methods. It was a good trip for both us and the Centres.” ICM is considering all the feedback it has received from the Centres and will act on it in due course.
